Weddings can feel overwhelming—where do you even start? Do you have a process for beginning the planning and creative vision?

Every wedding journey is unique, and that’s exactly what we love about them. After an initial consultation to learn more about the couple, their priorities, and their ideal budget, we always begin with the essentials: the venue and guest count. These two elements set the foundation for everything else.

Once you’ve secured your venue, everything else starts to fall into place. That’s why we always begin with the venue and date—these are the cornerstones of the planning process and pave the way for all the other details to come together seamlessly.
 

What’s the number one non-negotiable you find for a wedding? Or does it vary?
For us, the top priority is ensuring the wedding is unique and bespoke to you. When we meet with our couples, developing the concept is always one of the most exciting parts. However, it’s crucial that the vision reflects who they are as a couple, making the day truly their own.

Your background is in design—how does this influence your approach to planning and creating your clients' wedding vision?
My design background has definitely shaped how we approach each wedding creatively. It encourages us to think differently about how to bring our clients' dream concepts to life using various mediums. No idea is ever too big, small, or “unachievable.” In fact, I thrive on creating something that hasn’t been seen before or might be considered “too hard”—it all ties back to being bespoke and unique.

That said, my operational side always keeps me grounded when needed. This is where our sampling and testing process comes in to ensure every detail is perfectly executed. Planning and precision are things I’ve developed throughout my career and remain a true passion. LB.Styling has allowed us to find the perfect balance between the creative and logistical sides, enabling us to deliver something truly memorable.

What are your thoughts on trends? Are there any new ones you’re noticing?Trends are just that—trends. We tend to view them through the lens of fashion and art. My background in fashion keeps me aware of what’s ahead of the curve, but our goal is to go beyond that. We aim to create our own trends, DNA, and signature marks that resonate with each couple.

Personally, I find inspiration in timeless influences. I’m constantly referring to my coffee table books, old-world architecture, photos from travels, and places that have left a lasting impression. It’s about drawing from what surrounds us and the things we truly love to craft something that feels both fresh and meaningful.

For our couples it's how we piece together their concepts…through what they love, who they are and what they have experienced together.

 

Your vision is rooted in authenticity, intimacy, and creating something different—can you share a bit about your journey with your clients?
We’ve touched on this a little already, but for us, it all starts with truly getting to know our couples and understanding who they are. This creates such an incredible journey, not just of planning a wedding but also of building a genuine relationship.

Our process is deeply personal and intimate, which we believe leads to the most meaningful and unique outcomes. By fostering this connection, we’re able to create something spectacular that truly reflects the couple and ensures their special day feels like an authentic celebration of who they are.

What’s your favourite part of wedding event styling?
For us, it’s seeing the moodboard and vision come to life. All the hard work that’s been put in over the course of a year or more finally comes together in one stunning finished product and immersive experience. The best part is seeing our couples and their guests enjoy everything we’ve created, knowing that all the details have come together to make their day unforgettable.
